10 yrs ago the Country Livin’ in the City duplex was meant to be my transition into Nashville. For me, a cheap place to rent turned into a purchased fixer upper, and then transformed into a short term rental that changed my life. Air BNB has given us the opportunity to share the Southern Hospitality that I enjoyed growing up. I, along with my Husband Spencer, daughter Quinn, Bonus Son Cole, and dog Penny enjoy sharing our home with travelers from all over. Nacona is a resident of Nashville, TN, but travels frequently, often to see family and friends. As a wife, mother, disciple, and entrepreneur at heart – she tries to divide her time equally and is a big fan of the saying, “learning to live balanced in a tilted world.”
Real estate became a pipe dream after reading Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Poor Dad in her teens. After graduating Arkansas State University in 2012 with a Spanish degree, she realized quickly that teaching was not going to be a fast enough approach to creating capital for investments. Sales positions in manufacturing seemed to be the quickest way to leverage her charisma and ability to be helpful. It was a position starting in 2014 with apparel Designer Johnathan Kayne that catapulted her professional development to another level. She credits the experience as “ten college degrees” wrapped up into seven years of a true life changing career.
In 2018, the duplex also know as Country Livin’ in the city was purchased. By the end of 2020, the Air BNB had completely changed her financial situation and was a clear indicator that she was on the right path. Another Nashville property was purchased and her interest in learning more about Real Estate became the top priority.
In 2021, Nacona took the opportunity to make a career change into Mortgages and practiced loan origination along with some of the best in middle TN. It wasn’t until the change in a higher interest rate market in 2024 led to a decision to take a break from mortgages and look for other opportunities.
Currently, Nacona is working on creating this very site to expand on her current Air BNB endeavors, enhance the current properties, preparing for a new property that she is personally renovating, leveraging new technologies to share valuable knowledge, starting with a new mortgage brokerage, and continuing to serve her family and faith with the same energy.
Personal interests that weave into family activities and personal stories include camping, hiking, fishing, amazon shopping, being physically active, jogging, cooking, raising chickens, crafting, learning traditional living skills, and much much more.
